Harvard Business Review

This guide contains information about accessing and using Harvard Business Review articles.

Accessing Harvard Business Review

Rutgers University Libraries has access to the full text of Harvard Business Review (HBR) from 1922 to the present. HBR can be accessed via the links below.

Saving and Printing HBR Articles

Starting 8/1/2013, Harvard Business Review has changed its policy on printing some of its most-read articles. These articles have been set to "read only," which means that they cannot be printed. A PDF of the article may be downloaded and saved, but printing has been disabled within the file.

The spreadsheet above is a list of the 500 articles impacted by this change. If you have any problems printing an HBR article, please consult this list to see if it appears; if so, it has been designated as "read only." If it is not on this list, please contact me or another business librarian (click the tab above) and we will troubleshoot the problem.

Please note that the articles on this list may change over time. When in doubt, please contact a business librarian.

For further information on these restrictions from Harvard Business School Publishing, please refer to the American Library Association's RUSA/BRASS Statement on Harvard Business Review Pricing & Access.
