Gender and Technology: Statistics and Reports

This research guide is for the students in Gender and Technology course.

Statistics

Pew Internet & American Life Project presents reports and statistics on topics including social networking, media use, technology, etc. 

Geena Davis Institute on Gender and Media was founded by Academy Award winning actor and advocate Geena Davis in 2004. It is the first and only research-based organization working within the media and entertainment industry.  The link "Research" includes reports and statistics on topics such as representation of women STEM characters in media, gender bias in advertising, etc. 

Bureau of Labor Statistics. A unit of the United States Department of Labor. The site presents information and statistics on all aspects of labor in the United States.
