Citation manager available free to all Rutgers students and faculty. RefWorks lives online and stores your references until you need them. Great for long papers; use with databases that have no formatted bibliography output. Many Rutgers databases export citations to RefWorks.
The gold standard for citation managers. Can now obtain for free through the Rutgers University Libraries.
EndNote Basic (a sort of online "EndNote Lite") is available free of charge to Rutgers users at http://www.myendnoteweb.com. An EndNote Basic version of Cite While You Write can be installed to work with Microsoft Word.
Zotero LibGuide (from Mei Ling Lo)
Introduction to Zotero, including videos.
Free citation manager with a collaborative component. Will store PDFs and references. Can install Zotero as an automatic front end.
