Persistent Links: ProQuest

How to create persistent links to Library e-resources for linking in courseware, email, etc.

Document URL

ProQuest provides a "Document URL" with their articles:

  • Find the article to which you want to provide access.
  • Click on the article title to obtain the complete record.
  • Click on the tab, "abstract/details"
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and locate the Document URL.
  • Copy the Document URL.
  • Add the proxy prefix:

             http://login.proxy.libraries.rutgers.edu/login?url=

  • OR use the box on the right.
  • Copy/paste the full link and TEST IT!
