Follow these steps if you want your students to consult a specific subject research guide that our librarians have prepared for you! If you would like a customized Libraries module, tailored to your class' particular needs, please contact the Subject Specialist Librarian for your department.
Start with “site info” from the column on the left and click on “Manage Tools”
Make sure Library Resources (under Course Management Tools) is not selected (if it is, uncheck the box)
Under Content Sharing Tools, Select “web content”
Click “Continue” on the bottom of the page
Enter an appropriate title and provide the URL for the Library guide [Do not click the box “Link to Library eReserves”].
Click “Continue” and then “Finish”
Use “Tool Order” if you need to move where the guide appears in relation to your other contents.
You are done! You have just provided a link to one of our subject guides prepared by librarians who are knowledgeable about the topic.
