This is a research guide for students in Methods of Social Work Research II, Fall 2016

Find it online If Rutgers has electronic access to the article, you will be taken directly to the full text.

Request it! If the article is not available at Rutgers, you may request an electronic copy through interlibrary loan.

If no text is immediately available, the most direct path is to select the Request it link!

Finding Specific Articles or Journals

To find a specific article ("known" citation) or journal follow these steps:

  • In the Library Catalog type the journal title and select "Journal Title" from the pull-down menu.
  • Select your title from the journal browse list to see the full record for the journal.
  • Print holdings will be displayed, as well as online access if available.

You can also consult our Electronic Journals List, an alphabetical list of journals to which we have e-access.  But please remember the list does not have any print holdings information-the most complete holdings information is via the Library Catalog.
