Verify Credibility From Other Credible Sources
The SIFT Method, developed by Mike Caulfield, University of Washington, requires you to do further evaluation of a source which includes "LATERAL READING" - Instead of just evaluating the source of information by reading "vertically" on a webpage, read "laterally" by opening a new window and searching for other credible coverage of the information.
