Ian Marshall, MD, associate professor of pediatrics and Gloria Bachmann, MD, professor and interim chair of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences, lead the health and educational efforts of the PROUD Gender Center of New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in partnership with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Collaboratively, they coordinate and provide care for transgender individuals at different stages of gender affirmation treatment, from adolescence through senior adulthood. They also assist in the education and training of medical students, residents, colleagues, and other health professionals in the care of transgender and non-binary individuals.
