There are several ways to seek help from a librarian:
To access Rutgers-restricted sources off-campus, please LOGIN first.
This guide was put together with the goal of helping students in Dr. Galoppini’s Fall 2016 Special Topics in Organic Chemistry course (26:160:512) do research for their presentations. By no means is this an exhaustive guide to doing research, so if you have any questions, please contact a librarian.
Special Note: Bonnie will be on leave for a couple of months or so this semester, but expects to return to campus by mid-late November. In the meantime, if you have general library questions (e.g., how to find full-text or request an interlibrary loan), please contact the Dana Library Reference Desk, chat live with a librarian, or send an e-mail to Ask-A-Librarian. If you have science research-related questions (e.g., performing searches on SciFinder, Reaxys, etc.), please ask one of my subject specialist librarian colleagues in New Brunswick.
After watching the videos, students will be able to:
find articles about a topic of their choice using SciFinder
obtain full text articles
