Learning Objectives

After attending the May 15, 2014 session about Open Access (OA) publishing, students will be able to:

  • define what Open Access (OA) is
  • distinguish between the "gold" route and "green" route with regards to OA
  • recognize the advantages/pros and disadvantages/cons of publishing in OA journals
