Rutgers University Libraries: New Employee Handbook

This resource contains information for faculty and staff new to the Rutgers University Libraries.

Introduction

Welcome to Rutgers University Libraries

You have arrived at an exciting time for Rutgers and join a peerless network of 300 talented and dedicated librarians, faculty, and staff working in over 20 libraries, institutes, and facilities across four universities—Camden, New Brunswick, Newark, and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences.

While we might not all work in the same location, we are united by a vision of the library as an indispensable partner in scholarship that brings together students, faculty and staff, and the greater community to do great things. To this end, we provide outstanding information resources, services, and facilities in a dynamic and changing environment.

Please take the time to read the Libraries’ New Employee Handbook. It will introduce you to many of the resources and services that the Libraries provide in support of our mission. I look forward to working with you on achieving growth and innovation as a leading American research library system.

Welcome!
