Congressional Research

Library research guide to locating print and online materials from the United States Congress.

Introduction

Rutgers Libraries' government publications collections make available a wealth of Congressional materials, many of which are also available digitally and which date back to the 1789 Annals of Congress. Others are in paper format, microfilm, microfiche, or microprint. Most are located at Alexander Library.

This guide is an effort to simplify your search for materials by providing links and indicating formats and locations at Alexander Library. Federal documents located at Alexander Library are fully recorded in QuickSearch only from August 2002 forward. For material at other Rutgers libraries, use QuickSearch or inquire at the library.
