Douglass Building Directory

Mezzanine - The mezzanine is one floor up from the main floor. No collections on this floor.

  • graduate study area (with carrels)
  • silent study (which is very, very silent)

Main Floor - The main floor is the floor the public enters on. 

  • Mabel Smith Douglass Room (Douglass Reference)
  • Main circulation desk
  • OIT lab
  • Guest computers

Ground Floor - The ground floor is one floor below the main floor.  Two staircases lead to this floor (side staircase behind circulation desk and main staircase that goes through entire building).

  • Fordham Lab
  • Performing Arts Seminar Room
  • Media Center (Media Center contains both Media and Music Media Materials)
  • Tapestry Room (Douglass periodicals, books to be shelved, and PN 2000 - PN 6790)
  • Music Reference

Basement - The basement is the lowest level.  Only the main staircase leads to it.
