•Competition among the states to attract industry – tax incentives and tax shelters.
Try Business Source Premier and EconLit.  Look for books in the Library Catalog search widget under the Finding Books tab.
 
•The rise and fall of organized labor.
Definitely look at the Library Catalog under Finding Books and also try America:  History & Life for learned articles in history.  Business Source Premier and EconLit might have some good things as well.  Try the titles under the Newspapers tab for more current news if desired.
