Can I print in the Lab?

DVD drive

Can I use a DVD?

Please check out a SuperDrive at the circulation desk on the main level.

My teacher said that class was being held in the library. Can you tell me where?

Check the Rutgers Room Schedule website here .

Where can I borrow headphones?

Headphones and other equipment, including Wacom tablets, voice recorders, card reader, and music keyboards are available at the Circulation Desk.  Please click the tab labeled "Hardware" or click here to read more about these resources.

How come I can't save to my drive?

Is the drive formatted correctly?  In order to save on a Mac, the drive must be formatted for Mac or as a FAT drive, not as a Windows drive.  To determine how your external drive is formatted, right click on it, choose "Get Info" and check the Format in the "General" tab.

To reformat your hard drive use the Apple Disk Utility.  You can search for this Utility by clicking on the Spotlight (magnifying glass) on the upper right corner of your screen.

WARNING!  Reformatting your drive will erase all information on the drive.

Disk Utility -> Select your disk -> Click "Erase" on the top menu, choose your desired format (FAT, exFAT, journaled etc), give it a new name, click erase.

How can I save my iLife project?

User -> Movies -> iMovie projects -> Project name, drag over to external hard drive, usb or memory card.

Scanning a multipage document

To scan multiple pages into a single document, when choosing to save the file change the default file type of "Jpg" to "multi page tiff" or "pdf".
