The following instructions are a quick reference for using the Insight computer program for projecting and controlling the classroom PCs.
If any of the PCs or laptop computer are not working, try rebooting the machines and check to make sure they are plugged in/have enough battery life, before you contact the building Unit Computing Specialist listed on the left with the classroom information.
Research Guides have been prepared for the different English writing program classes and the Students in Transition Program (transfer students). The document below provides instruction on embedding these guides directly into Sakai.

Students in Transition Seminar (STS):
These materials are suitable for a library session introducing international students to the library. They are designed for freshman or other new students. They do not focus on searching for articles using databases. The materials include Chinese (Mandarin) where appropriate, but these are included as pictures and can easily be removed for a different group. The Powerpoint is the presentation and there is a slide in the middle which directs you to the game. The Word Bank is to be given to students for the game.
iClickers are available for use in instruction. One set of iClickers (base and 30 clickers) is located at Carr Library. One set is currently on loan in Newark.
