How to set up mobile pairing on iPad

While you are on campus using Rutgers Wireless network (RUWireless), go to AMS Remote Access on your mobile device.  Scroll down and click "pair your device" .  Then follow the instructions on the web page.

If the pairing fails to work, be sure to check with the settings of your browser on your tablet.  For example, if you are using iPad, the settings for your Safari should be the same as the picture shown below.  Turn "off" private browsing.  Enable Javascript by setting it to "on".

American Mathematical Society - Mobile Pairing

The American Mathematical Society has launched Mobile Pairing for its electronic products - MathSciNet, eJournals and eBooks.

Mobile Pairing allows you to 'pair' your mobile devices - tablets, laptops, smartphones - with Rutgers' subscriptions/electronic purchases.

Once 'paired', the user will have access to AMS electronic products without having to be connected to Rutgers' network. The pairing will last for 90days.

For more information about Mobile Pairing, please visit http://www.ams.org/publications/remoteaccess.
