Welcome

Dear Incoming MLIS  Students:

On behalf of the University Libraries, I would like to welcome you to Rutgers, one of the nation's leading public research universities. You have now joined the distinguished body of students and faculty at the School of Communication and Information (SC&I).  As a Liaison Librarian to SC&I, I look forward to working with you while you are pursuing your degree.  I want to make sure that both your academic and personal experiences at Rutgers are fulfilling and rewarding.

This Guide is designed to help you start your academic work, wherever you are.  Consider it as a work in progress since I will be updating it at least once a semester.  At the same time, you can help me to enhance the quality of the Guide by sending suggestions and comments so that, together, we can improve its usefulness.

At any time if you need consultation or have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or email.  Welcome aboard!

With all my best wishes,

Myoung C. Wilson
