Organic Chemistry Lab 310 Fall 2014

This course guide has been created for Dr. Jimenez's Organic Chemistry Lab 310, Fall 2014.  It contains all the information needed to complete your lab assignment. It is important that you review the material in this guide prior to attending your lab session at the library. These sessions will be held at the following times and locations:

• Tuesday, October 28, 6:30-11:00, Library of Science and Medicine e-classroom, 3rd floor
• Wednesday, October 29, 1:00-4:30, e-classroom, 3rd floor
• Thursday, October 30, 1:00-5:40, e-classroom, 3rd floor
• Thursday, October 30, 6:30-11:00, e-classroom, 3rd floor

From the top of the stairs, turn right, then left to go into the hallway for the e-classroom. From the elevator, turn left, then left into the hallway. The room number is 303.

First,  read and print the assignment in the box at the left. Then proceed to the Scifinder tab and follow the instructions for creating a Scifinder account if you haven't done so already. Review the tutorials on that page. Then review the information on each of the other tabs: Reaxys, Find Journals, Databases, and Citations.
