Public / Guest / Alumni Computer Accounts

Accounts for these computers are available to visitors who do not have a current NetID. Detailed instructions are available in the PDF.

Wireless

Wireless access is available only to those who have a current Rutgers NetID and password. We do not provide guest accounts.

RUL Systems Emergencies

In general, report problems to your local Unit Computing Specialist.

For emergencies that require immediate attention, please send an email to: iis911call@libraries.rutgers.edu or call IIS at 848-445-5896, press 0  and leave a message. One of the IIS staff members will get back to you within an hour.

Critical problems that require immediate attention include:

a.      loss of network support

b.      unable to access all online databases

c.       unable to connect to the library web pages

For Ex Libris related issues send an email to: exlibris@rutgers.libanswers.com

Examples of Ex Libris related issues include:

a.      All staff members cannot log into Alma

b.      QuickSearch does not respond with results

OIT Computer Labs

Computer Labs run by OIT are located on all the campuses and within each of the 4 main New Brunswick Libraries.
