Nursing Graduate Student Library Research Guide - RUL

Information to support graduate students as they become proficient users of library resources and services

Welcome!

Dear Graduate Student:

This guide has been developed with your information needs in mind.  To support your goal of becoming an effective and efficient user of the University Libraries resources and services, we've set the following learning outcomes for our session.  On completion of our instructional session, you should be able to:

·         Locate books owned by the University Libraries;

·         Identify appropriate journal articles using journal index databases;

·         Find full-text copies of articles;

·         Request articles held in print or not owned by the University Libraries;

·         Manage book and article citations using RefWorks, EndNote Web, or Zotero.

Build or review your library research skills

A list of self-teaching modules in health sciences research skills can be found at:

These can be used independently, or your professors might embed them into your course shell.
