Government Publications at Dana Library

About the government depository collection and library services at the Dana Library.

Access

Both the federal and NJ State depository publications, and library services related to the use of the collections are available to all users regardless of age or affiliation.

Online government information is accessible to public users as well as Rutgers faculty and students. Wireless Internet connection is provided to Rutgers users in the library.

The government publications except reference items circulate to qualified borrowers.

For the Disabled

The Dana Library has automatic entrance and exit doors. Elevators, with selectors at wheelchair height and marked in braille, lead to all floors. Tables for computers with online access, the Reference Desk, the Circulation Desk, and photocopiers are adapted for wheelchair specifications. A Kurzweil reading machine for visually impaired patrons is also available for use.

Services

Reference service is provided at the general reference desk, which can also be reached by calling (973)353-5901.

RUL online reference assistance is also provided to all users through Email and Instant Messaging.

Delivery and interlibrary loan service is offered to Rutgers users for government publications not available in the library.
