NewsLibrary is a service used by newspapers to supply their archives on the internet. Allows you to simultaneously search all participating newspapers in a selected state; or search across a group of NewsBank newspapers that you have individually selected. There is a charge to view the full article.
RSAP: Resources for Research
Lists 18th, 19th, and early 20th century magazines and newspapers that are available full-text on the web. In addition to single titles, lists newspapers included as part of large digital collections (e.g., Cornell's and University of Michigan's Making of American Collections). The New York Age, 1887-1953, was one of the best known and most influential African American newspapers of its time. August 1890-February 1892 is available from the Google News Archive; 1906-1953 is available from the Fulton History site.
The Occident and American Jewish Advocate
Published in Philadelphia from 1843 to 1869, the Advocate was the first successful Jewish serial in the United States.
