Borrowing Books

Borrowing Periods for Undegraduates:

Books: 28 days plus renewals (go to Ask a Librarian to renew)

Music CDs: 3 days. 

Circulating Collection DVDs: 1 week (no renewal).

E-Z Borrow Books: 28 days, plus 1 renewal of 28 days.

U-Borrow (from Big10 libraries) 8 weeks, plus one renewal. 

Interlibrary Loan Materials: Usually 4 weeks.

Book Delivery:

If a book is unavailable at your preferred library, but it is available at another Rutgers library, you can request that the book be sent to your preferred library. Simply locate the book in the library catalog, and click on "Book Delivery" tab to make the request. It takes 3-4 days. We will email you when you can come pick it up.
