Welcome from the Vice President for Information Services and University Librarian, Marianne Gaunt

Welcome from Marianne Gaunt
Vice President for Information Services and University Librarian

Greetings everyone. I’m delighted to welcome you to the Rutgers University Libraries. You have joined an outstanding university that it is our privilege to serve. You are now among the 300 talented and dedicated individuals who comprise the university library system across the four campuses of the university – Camden, Newark, New Brunswick, and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS), our newest campus. RBHS was formed in July 2013 when a significant portion of the former University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey was integrated into Rutgers.

The Libraries mission is to be an indispensable partner to the university in support of its goal to be broadly recognized as among the nation’s leading public universities. We accomplish our mission by providing outstanding information resources, services, and facilities in a dynamic and changing environment. This LibGuide provides an orientation for you to the many resources and services that the Libraries provide in support of our mission. We look forward to working with you on achieving our aspirations as we create the Rutgers Libraries for the 21st century.
